I have decided over the Christmas period, to start a new website to deal specifically with the subject of animals and pets photography. As opposed to a one site does all, strategy, I think it is appropriate that this site deals only with the Social (Weddings/Lifestyle) and the Commercial side of things…maybe one day, the Commercial photography will have it’s independent site too.

Anyway, lets start with the name…..well I live in Peterborough, and as everybody around here knows, ‘Posh’ is the local football team’s nickname and lots of local business’ use ‘Posh’ in their name, much to the disgruntlement of Posh Spice aka Mrs. Beckham who went to court I believe to try and get Peterborough United to change their nickname….I think they had it long before the Spice Girls came about! So ‘Posh Pets’ it is!

Secondly I want to make it a little bit different from the traditional studio pets shoot, all the shoots will be on location, whether that be the clients home or on the beach. The idea is to capture the pet or animal at ease in a place it knows and is comfortable in. Hopefully the resulting images will be natural and true to life.
